Recently, my group delivered our pitch to the class where we discussed our ideas for our music video. The pitch wasn't perfect but I think collectively my group did a good job and we were all very happy with how the how pitch went. 

 

Our feedback said that we had a clear understanding of our roles and each person knew what they should be doing to fulfill that role, the fact each person has a passion for the role they have is good because it means we are confident in making sure we work to our full potential. We were then questioned on our narrative and asked to re-explain it to the class giving more detail on what exactly is going to happen. Another question asked was how we would fill the whole length of the video and not make it boring, for this we have decided to make the video fast pace and have a range of shots and camera movements to keep the audience engaged. Speaking with the class has also developed our idea of a red carpet scene which we have now decided we will most likely do. 

 

Following our feedback we need to refine our idea so that our video is engaging to watch, we will do this be going over every aspect of the video to make sure that the whole process of filming it to editing it will go smoothly. We also need to storyboard the video and create a shot list which will give others a better understanding of our idea.

 

I think my pitching skills were good for my first time doing anything like this. I think I'm good at speaking to groups of people I just need to focus so I can remember to try to say everything in a good amount of detail.
